Description
The City of Lubbock is seeking a qualified vendor to operate concession stands at two municipal athletic complexes (Tom Martin Youth Sports Complex and Berl Huffman Athletic Complex). The contractor will staff, manage, and supply food‑beverage services across five concession locations, maintain POS systems, handle cash and reporting, and comply with health, safety, and city‑specific operational standards. The contract is for an initial one‑year term with up to four one‑year extensions, a minimum annual rent of $108,000, and the opportunity to propose additional compensation structures.
• Operate five concession stands (3 at Tom Martin, 2 at Berl Huffman)
• Provide staffing, on‑site supervision, training, and inventory management
• Install and maintain a City‑approved POS system with full reporting access
• Meet food‑safety, sanitation, and customer‑service standards
• Submit monthly rent payments (minimum $108,000 annually) and optional percentage‑of‑sales compensation
• Deliver detailed business, staffing, marketing, and continuity plans
• Provide financial statements, references, and equipment lists
• Contract may be extended annually up to five years total.
