Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking a contractor to install touchless ADA door operators in building 47. The project requires the installation of handicapped operators, touchless activators, and other equipment. The contractor must have 5 years of experience working in the areas described in the statement of work. The project has a firm-fixed price award with an expected period of performance of 75 days. The contractor will be responsible for providing all materials and equipment, and for ensuring that the work is completed within the specified timeframe.
Key requirements of the project include:
• Installing touchless ADA door operators
• Providing two touchless handicapped activators for each door
• Ensuring that power for all devices can be obtained from nearby outlets
• Surface mounting of electrical conduit, wiring, etc. is not permitted
• Adding a full lite kit to each identified door with internal mini blinds
• Ensuring that the work is completed within 75 days of the notice to proceed.
