Description
The Town of Wellesley is soliciting sealed bids for the purchase and removal of two retired 5600/7000 kVA 3-phase delta-wye power transformers. The transformers are located at the Weston Road Substation in Wellesley, MA, and are being sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS. The bid price shall include all costs for dismantling, rigging, loading, and removal within 30 days of award.
• The transformers are manufactured by Howard Industries, circa 2002, with serial numbers 2408461705 and 2408471705.
• The transformers are 13.8kV - 4160Y/2400V, 3-phase delta-wye.
• Inspection of the transformers is by appointment only.
• The successful bidder will be responsible for all costs associated with the removal of the transformers.
