Emergency Medical Billing Services for the City of Ocean City

The City of Ocean City is seeking a contractor to provide emergency medical billing services for its Municipal Ambulance Service. The contractor will be responsible for billing and accounting for applicable fees, including ambulance runs, mileage, and extrication services. The contractor must have experience in municipal ambulance billing services and must be able to process claims electronically. The contractor will be required to provide monthly reports and maintain confidentiality of patient records. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with an option to renew for an additional 24 months. • The contractor must be able to bill for ambulance services, including loaded miles and extrication services. • The contractor must be able to process claims electronically and provide monthly reports. • The contractor must maintain confidentiality of patient records and comply with New Jersey State Statutes pertaining to Record Retention. • The contractor must have experience in municipal ambulance billing services and must be licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. • The contractor must be able to provide a professional billing office and employ trained and qualified staff.
