Description
The South Texas Veterans Healthcare Sterile Processing Department is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive instrument maintenance services, including on-site laser sharpening, refurbishment of Reusable Medical Devices (RMD), and off-site repairs for instruments requiring extensive servicing. The vendor will inspect, sharpen, repair, and lubricate surgical instruments, ensuring they remain in optimal condition. The contractor will perform on-site services at the designated VA Medical Center (VAMC) and will be required to maintain a system for reporting and tracking instrument maintenance.
• The contractor must be ISO 9001:2015 certified and IAHCSMM certified.
• The contractor will be required to provide detailed reports and documentation of instrument maintenance.
• The contractor will be required to maintain a system for tracking and trending instrument maintenance.
• The contractor will be required to provide real-time, up-to-date records of all work orders and repairs.
• The contractor will be required to comply with VHA Directive 1116(2) and other relevant regulations.
