Temporary Bridge Parts

The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) intends to enter into a single source contract with Acrow Corporation of America for temporary bridge parts. The contract is for the procurement of Acrow 300 Series temporary bridge parts, which are proprietary to Acrow Corporation of America. The parts are required for use with temporary bridging needed due to replacement of old bridges and/or damage due to disasters. The bridge components must be constructed entirely of high strength, high quality U.S. steel from ISO-certified mills and shall be hot-dipped zinc galvanized to prevent corrosion and allow for easy maintenance. • The contract is for a single source acquisition, with a justification that FDOT currently owns and utilizes proprietary Acrow 300 Series bridge parts. • The contract price is $1,280,000.00. • The procurement is exempt from competition due to the proprietary nature of the bridge parts. • The contract is subject to the terms and conditions of the FDOT procurement regulations.
