Description
The United States Space Force is seeking a contractor to replace the boiler exhaust venting at Buckley SFB, Building 205. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary materials and labor to replace the existing boiler venting, which is deteriorating due to condensate leaks. The contractor must ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and applicable codes, including UFC 3-410-01, UFC 3-420-01, and NFPA 101. The contractor will also be required to conduct inspections, perform leak checks, and provide a final report detailing the work completed.
• The contractor must replace the boiler venting for four Lochinvar boilers, including two domestic hot water boilers and two heating boilers.
• The contractor must ensure that all vent connections are safely made using proper fittings and materials.
• The contractor must perform multiple comprehensive leak checks on the newly installed piping.
• The contractor must coordinate with the 460th CES project manager for a final inspection by the Fire Department.
• The contractor must provide a warranty for the work completed, if applicable.
