Description
The Berrien County Board of Commissioners is seeking bids for the construction of the FY 2026 LRA LMIG for Roadway Resurfacing. The project involves resurfacing approximately 5 miles of roadway and all associated measures for the complete project. The work will be awarded in one contract, and the time allotted for completion of the work is 90 consecutive calendar days to substantial completion, with 104 consecutive calendar days to complete and ready for contract closeout.
• The project requires a pre-qualified Georgia Department of Transportation Contractor.
• The bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified cashier’s check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid.
• The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount.
• All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications.
• Copies of Bidding Documents can be obtained from Watkins & Associates, L.L.C. upon payment of $300.00 for each set.
