Siemens Vision 600 PET/CT scanner or equivalent

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is seeking to acquire one Siemens Vision 600 PET/CT scanner or equivalent. The scanner will be used to perform clinical PET/CT scans in adult and pediatric patients with cancer and other serious conditions. The proposed PET/CT scanner must have state-of-the-art sensitivity, resolution, and field of view, and must be able to perform dynamic PET, DICOM connectivity, and other advanced features. The contractor will be responsible for installing the new scanner, providing training to NIH staff, and ensuring that the scanner meets all necessary regulatory requirements. The project includes room modifications, electrical and mechanical work, and other related tasks. • The scanner must have a Lutetium oxyorthosilicate (LSO) based SiPMs (digital) PET detector • The scanner must have a PET transaxial field-of-view of 70 cm or larger • The scanner must have dynamic PET and DICOM connectivity to Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiological Information System (RIS) • The scanner must have a PET NEMA spatial resolution of 3.2 mm or better • The scanner must have a PET coincidence (time-of-flight) timing resolution of less than 220 ps
