Description
The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide OEM parts and repair services for refuse truck cab and chassis. The contract will be for an initial term of 36 months, with the option to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods. The contractor will be responsible for providing parts and repair services on an as-needed basis, including expedited repair services and emergency disaster services. The contractor must have a minimum of three years of experience providing similar services and be a manufacturer-authorized parts dealer/reseller.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing a single point of contact and relevant contact information for receiving orders from the City.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing a report of all parts or repair services performed for a specified timeframe.
• The contractor will be responsible for maintaining a storage area that is reasonably secure from vandalism or theft for all City vehicles/equipment in the Contractor's possession.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing a 12-month labor warranty for all repair services.
• The contractor will be responsible for providing a copy of the manufacturer's parts warranty within five working days of request by an authorized City representative.
