Description
The South Georgia Regional Library System is seeking bids from Georgia Licensed General Contractors for The Willis L. Miller Library Project – Phase 2. The project involves repairs and renovations to the Willis L. Miller Library, a one-story, approximately 36,128-square-foot facility located at 2906 Julia Drive, Valdosta, Georgia. The work includes restoration of storm-damaged building components, protection of existing finishes to remain, and construction of a small building addition.
• The project requires compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and building and construction codes of the Federal Government, the State of Georgia, and the City of Valdosta.
• The contractor shall obtain all necessary licenses and permits as prescribed by law.
• Bid documents may be obtained at the print shop Print Life Printing & Supplies, LLC located at 1006 Williams Street, Valdosta, GA 31601.
• The Cost of each set of Documents is $300.00 and does not include shipping and is non-refundable.
• A Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Project Site at 10:00 A.M. local time on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
