Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is seeking a quotation for an industrial 3D printer designed for advanced research and manufacturing applications. The required equipment must meet the salient characteristics equal to the R3 Printing, R3-Ultra printer (SKU No.: R3PTR-0201-U). The quotation should include the manufacturer, model number, specifications, and a narrative demonstrating compliance with the salient characteristics. The award will be made on a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis.
Key features of the required 3D printer include:
• Extruder temperatures up to or more than 420 C
• Heated build plate/bed temperatures up to or more than 150 C
• Heated build chamber with temperatures up to or more than 150 C
• Ability to print carbon fiber filled materials
• Dual Material Printing
• Minimum build volume (X,Y,Z): 15 in., 14.25 in., 13 inch
• Fit on existing laboratory work bench, 33 inch max depth and 45 inch max width
• Work with existing laboratory power, 120v AC, 20amp plug
