Description
The City of Cincinnati is seeking an expert tree care contractor to provide preventive tree pruning maintenance on individual street trees or other publicly owned trees designated by the Cincinnati Park Board: Division of Natural Resources (CPB-DNR). The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to provide preventive pruning maintenance in each community. The contract will have a 12-month term with one optional 6-month renewal period.
• The contractor will provide at least one three-person crew per day in each neighborhood awarded.
• The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local ordinances, regulations, licenses, and permits necessary to perform work under this contract.
• The contractor will be required to attend a mandatory training session before work begins.
• The contractor will be responsible for coordinating all traffic control needs and obtaining necessary permits.
• The contractor will be required to provide proof of liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance.
• The contractor will be required to comply with the City's Living Wage provisions and Equal Employment Opportunity requirements.
