Valve and Wet Tap Installation Services (Three (3) Year Multiyear Contract)

The County of DeKalb, GA is soliciting sealed bids for Valve and Wet Tap Installation Services. The contract is for a three-year period, and the work includes providing routine and emergency valve and wet tap installation services for the DeKalb County Department of Watershed Management on an as-needed basis. The services include installation on active water mains, trench excavation and shoring, hydrostatic pressure testing, traffic control, site restoration, and related work in accordance with County standards and specifications. • The contract is a multi-year contract that will automatically renew on each January 1st, unless terminated in accordance with the termination provisions of the contract. • The County makes no promise, real or implied, to order any quantity whatsoever. • The contract will be an “Indefinite Quantity” type with County requirements to be satisfied on an “as ordered” basis. • The Contractor shall commence the Work under this Contract within ten (10) days from the written Notice to Proceed (“Commencement Date”) and fully complete the work within the contract period. • The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to re-advertise. • The judgment of DeKalb County Purchasing and Contracting on matters, as stated above, shall be final.
