Sole Source Teledyne Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers Repair Services

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking repair services for Teledyne Workhorse 300 kHz Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers (ADCPs). The required repair services include replacement of proprietary electronic boards, firmware updates, calibration, diagnostic testing, and restoration of instrument performance to manufacturer specifications. The repaired instruments will be deployed in NOAA PMEL oceanographic moorings to collect long-term scientific measurements. The period of performance is required from award to August 30, 2026. • The repair services must be performed by the original equipment manufacturer, Teledyne RD Instruments, due to the proprietary nature of the hardware, firmware, and calibration procedures. • The repaired instruments must meet manufacturer specifications to ensure accurate and reliable data collection. • The procurement is currently intended to be sole source, but firms that believe they can fully meet the government's requirements may submit substantiating documentation in writing to the identified point of contact within 15 days after publication of the presolicitation notice.
