CIVIL ENGINEERING AND ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES FOR RANCHO RIO AVENUE BRIDGE REPLACEMENT PROJECT

The County of Santa Cruz is seeking a qualified consulting firm to provide civil engineering and environmental services for the Rancho Rio Avenue Bridge Replacement Project. The project involves replacing the existing one-lane bridge with a two-lane concrete slab bridge and standard bridge approaches. The selected consultant will be responsible for performing tasks such as project management, preliminary engineering, survey and mapping, geotechnical investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic report, and environmental support. The consultant will also be required to provide bidding assistance and construction support. • The project is expected to be completed by December 31, 2029. • The consultant will be required to submit a detailed project schedule and meet the project milestones. • The consultant will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Caltrans and County standards. • The consultant will be required to provide a cost proposal using the Caltrans Sample Cost Proposal 1. • The consultant will be required to comply with the State of California's General Prevailing Wage Rate requirements. The County is looking for a consultant with experience in providing similar services, a strong understanding of the scope of work, and the ability to complete the project on time and within budget.
