The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is seeking proposals from consultants interested in participating in the Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Network (IPTN). The IPTN is a collective of technical assistance and support providers working together to reduce exclusionary practices for all students across Washington state, including students with disabilities receiving special education services. The selected consultant will provide professional development and technical assistance to build capacity for inclusionary practices, with a focus on student, family, and community engagement and system-wide data monitoring and analysis.
• The IPTN aims to disrupt systems and practices that limit choice and opportunity for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and Black students with disabilities.
• The consultant will work with OSPI to provide guidance, technical assistance, and professional development resources to support the IPTN's priorities.
• The consultant will demonstrate experience and expertise in student, family, and community engagement and system-wide data monitoring and analysis.
• The consultant will provide professional development and technical assistance to target audiences, including families, students, teachers, and education support personnel.
• The consultant will identify one or more targeted audiences to provide professional development and/or technical assistance in priority areas, such as positive behavioral and mental health supports, student, family, and community engagement, and instructional leadership and standards-aligned instruction.
