Ashing and High Temperature Furnace

The Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) is seeking to purchase an Ashing furnace and a High Temperature Furnace for processing scientific samples. The Ashing furnace should have a maximum temperature of 1100C, while the High Temperature Furnace should have a maximum temperature of 1650C. The furnaces should have specific technical specifications, including heating elements, interior volume, and operating voltage. The procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside, and the contract will be awarded on a Firm-Fixed-Price basis. • The Ashing furnace should have ceramic heating plates with integral heating elements and a lift door with a hot surface facing away from the operator. • The High Temperature Furnace should have molybdenum disilicide heating elements and operate on 208V single phase. • The furnaces should be brand name or equal, and the vendor should be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) or an authorized distributor. • The contract will include terms and conditions, and the award will be made to the responsible offeror whose offer is most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors.
