Description
The Missouri Veterans Commission is seeking a contractor to provide electrical services for the Missouri Veterans Home – St James. The contractor will be responsible for providing electrical services, including maintenance, repair, and minor modifications, to the facility. The contractor must have a minimum of three years' experience and be licensed as an electrician. The contract period is one year, with a total contract amount not exceeding $50,000.
Some key responsibilities of the contractor include:
• Providing electrical services, including troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems, performing installation, preventive maintenance, and repair on electrical appliances and motors, and maintaining and repairing electrical power transmission, lighting, communication, signal, or alarm systems.
• Completing all work in compliance with applicable plans, specifications, codes, laws, and regulations.
• Providing all supervision, labor, tools, and equipment to perform the electrical services.
• Reporting any safety hazards, evident misuse, or damage to equipment or environmental problems directly to the Facilities Supervisor.
