Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI)

The City of St. Charles is seeking qualified firms to design, supply, and implement an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) system for its municipal electric utility, including all hardware, software, communications, and data‑management components. The procurement includes detailed technical and security specifications, a price‑proposal worksheet, and requires compliance with municipal utility standards. • Provide a complete AMI solution (smart meters, communication network, data collection and analytics platform). • Meet the technology and security standards outlined in Appendix B. • Submit a detailed price proposal using the provided worksheet (Appendix A). • Deliver system installation, testing, and training for City staff. • Ensure integration with the City’s existing electric utility operations.
