KING RIDGE SUBSTATION - CONSTRUCTION

The Bristol Virginia Utilities Authority (BVU) is seeking qualified bidders to construct the King Ridge Substation. The scope includes furnishing materials and installing below‑grade substation facilities such as foundations, grounding systems, conduit/cable, and an oil containment system, as well as installing owner‑furnished equipment including structural steel, electrical bus/jumpers, switches, potential transformers, and 69 kV circuit breakers. This project is a turnkey construction effort requiring expertise in electrical infrastructure, heavy civil work, and coordination of large‑scale utility equipment. • Provide complete civil works (foundations, grading, grounding, containment). • Install and integrate owner‑supplied high‑voltage electrical equipment. • Ensure compliance with utility standards and safety regulations.
