Disposal Facility for the Disposal of Waste Tires (Bid Discount)

The City of Tampa is seeking a disposal facility for the disposal of waste tires. The selected bidder will be required to provide a facility for the disposal of waste tires, with or without rims, from the City's McKay Bay Transfer Stations. The bidder must comply with all local codes, Florida Department of Environmental Protection policies and regulations, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards. The contract will be for a three-year period, with the option to renew for an additional two years. The bidder must provide evidence of their ability to perform the work, including licenses and permits, and demonstrate their facility's capacity to accept all of the City's waste tire materials. • The bidder must provide a statement of intent to dispose of waste tires. • The bidder's facility must be located within a 50-mile radius of the City of Tampa's McKay Bay Transfer Stations. • The bidder must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The bidder must provide documentation of their facility's compliance with Florida Rules 62-701 and 62-711 Florida Administrative Code. • The bidder must demonstrate their facility's sufficient capacity to accept all of the City's waste tire materials and satisfy the requirements of all the bidder's current disposal contracts with other customers throughout the term of this award/contract.
