Tire Recycling Services for Neal Road Recycling & Waste Facility

The County of Butte is seeking bids for tire recycling services for the Neal Road Recycling & Waste Facility. The selected contractor will be responsible for removing waste tires from the facility and transporting them to licensed and permitted facilities for recycling, cogeneration, or other re-use purposes. The contractor will be compensated on a time and material basis, with a total not-to-exceed contract price of TBD. The contractor must be listed as a Certified Waste Tire Hauler with the California Department of Resources Recycling & Recovery (CalRecycle) and provide assurances that all materials collected are handled, shipped, dismantled, and disposed of in a manner that meets all Federal and State requirements. • The contractor shall remove waste tires from the facility, including standard passenger, light truck tires, larger truck tires, and tractor tires. • The contractor shall report to the County the quantity, by weight, of tires collected from the facility. • The contractor shall provide pickup services during the normal facility hours of 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. • The contractor shall be responsible for the disposal costs of any residual non-recyclable items from the tire waste collected from the facility.
