CUSTOM CONTACT LENS FOA

The County of Los Angeles is seeking a vendor to provide customized contact lenses, including corneal gas permeable and scleral gas permeable lenses. The lenses must be custom designed for each individual patient and meet specific requirements, including base curve, diameter, power, material, thickness, lens color, and peripheral recesses. The vendor must have at least 5 years of experience providing contact lens services and submit a resume/work history to demonstrate this requirement. The vendor must also submit a list of available fitting sets for both scleral and corneal gas permeable lenses, including fitting guides, and provide lens-specific training at no charge upon request. • The contract requires expedited delivery with a turnaround time of 3-4 weeks. • The parameter of lenses and patient's name must be listed on the packaging/labeling of the contact lenses. • The vendor must be an authorized distributor for the items being offered and include a manufacturer-authorized distributor letter with their bid submission. • The contract includes a 90-day warranty for lens exchanges.
