Description
The County of Volusia is seeking proposals for the development and operation of a motocross park on a 358-acre property located on State Road 44, ten miles east of DeLand, Florida. The selected Concessionaire will be responsible for all financing, development, operations, and maintenance at its sole expense. The County is offering a 30-year ground lease, with the option for renewal. The project is funded through the Volusia ECHO program, which provides grant funds for environmental, cultural, historical, and outdoor recreational purposes. The Concessionaire will be required to provide a conceptual plan, operational and business plan, and financial ability/financing information. The County is looking for a Concessionaire that can provide a high-quality motocross facility that meets the needs of the community, while also generating revenue and creating jobs.
