Description
The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is seeking bids for the reconstruction of the playground at Orient Beach State Park. The project includes the removal of select play equipment, concrete foundations, and poured-in-place safety surfacing, and replacement with new play equipment and safety surface tiles on porous pavement, bound by an accessible colored concrete perimeter path. The project also includes new benches, perimeter post and rope fencing, as well as new tree and dune grass plantings in and surrounding the play area.
• The project is expected to be completed within 180 days of the contract award.
• The contract value is estimated to be between $1,133,480.00 and $1,533,530.00.
• A pre-bid meeting will be held on November 5, 2025, at 11:00 AM.
• All requests for information are due by November 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM.
• Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read via WebEx on November 20, 2025, at 10:30 AM.
