Description
UC Davis Health is seeking qualified firms to provide design standards, design milestone reviews, and lean services. The selected firms will support the Facilities Planning & Development division for three categories of work: Lean Services, Design Guidelines, Standards and Templates Development & Updates, and Design and Project Reviews (Milestone). The firms will be expected to provide services such as process mapping, waste identification, and design development, and to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare design. The scope of work includes tasks such as stakeholder engagement, design coordination, and documentation. The selected firms will be required to sign a blanket Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with a maximum agreement value ranging from $2,000,000 to $4,000,000.
• Key services include:
• Lean services to improve operational workflows and reduce inefficiencies
• Design guidelines development and updates to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Design and project reviews to ensure alignment with clinical workflows and stakeholder expectations
• Process mapping and waste identification to improve patient flow and staff productivity
• Design development and implementation to support sustainability and maintainability
• Stakeholder engagement and communication to ensure effective project management
