This solicitation seeks a general contractor to execute Package 2 of the OTxHU program at Woodhull Hospital – a full façade renovation that includes demolition of existing non‑structural curtain‑wall components, removal of legacy glazing, and installation of new security‑rated curtain‑wall panels, steel support members, flashing, insulation, fire‑stop, and associated architectural, structural, mechanical, HVAC, and hazardous‑materials coordination. The work must comply with the NYC Health + Hospitals Project Labor Agreement, meet a 25 % MWBE participation goal, and satisfy strict safety, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Demolition of existing curtain‑wall glazing on the 9th, 10th and roof levels and removal of non‑structural metal panels.
• Supply and install new attack‑rated curtain‑wall systems, steel mullions, insulation, flashing, and fire‑stop to meet NYC Building and Fire Codes.
• Coordination with architectural, structural, HVAC, and haz‑mat trades; mandatory pre‑bid meetings on 29‑30 Apr 2026; RFI deadline 15 May 2026.
• Contractor must post a bond ≥ 10 % of the bid amount, provide a 1‑year warranty, and adhere to a 606‑day completion schedule.
