RV and Heavy-Duty Vehicle Specialized Outfitting Maintenance, Repair, and Support Services

The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified vendor to provide specialized maintenance, repair, and support services for step van and mobile workshop vehicles equipped with RV-style auxiliary systems and heavy-duty vehicle outfitting components. The contractor will be required to provide labor, diagnostics, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and related support services for specialized vehicle outfitting systems, including electrical and house power systems, generator services, roof vent and ventilation systems, and auxiliary power systems. The contractor must have at least three years of experience servicing RV-style auxiliary systems, mobile workshop vehicles, specialty upfitted vehicles, or similar electrical and auxiliary power systems. The contract will start on July 1, 2026, and end on June 30, 2027. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must provide pickup and delivery of vehicles to and from the City's designated location. • The contractor must respond to service requests within 24 to 72 hours and schedule service accordingly. • The contractor must provide a warranty for all materials furnished against defects in materials and/or workmanship. • The contractor must comply with the City's ordinances and regulations regarding equal employment opportunity. • The contractor must provide proof of insurance prior to the City's award of the contract.
