Janitorial Services for APD Mounted Patrol

The City of Austin is seeking a contractor to provide weekly cleaning and janitorial services for the Austin Police Department's Mounted Patrol facilities. The services include dusting, cleaning office furniture, emptying trash, cleaning restrooms, kitchen areas, and disinfecting communal/high touch areas. The contractor will be required to provide all necessary equipment, supplies, and personnel to perform the services. The contract will be for an initial term of 12 months, with the option to extend for up to two additional 12-month periods. • The contractor must have at least three years of experience providing cleaning and disinfection services to commercial or governmental agencies of similar size. • The contractor must provide a monthly rate for the services, including all necessary equipment and supplies. • The contractor must ensure that all personnel assigned to the project wear uniforms, necessary personal protective equipment, and company-issued identification. • The contractor must provide a list of references that meet the qualification requirements. • The City reserves the right to establish a cleaning schedule and inspect the services provided.
