Description
The Department of Public Safety, Division of Administrative Services, is looking to lease hangar space in Dillingham, Alaska. The hangar shall provide year-round (365/24/7) hangar space for state aircraft, with a size of between 2,500 and 3,600 square feet. The lease term is approximately 12 months, with an estimated budget of $150,000 to $350,000. The successful bidder will be required to provide a secure and lockable facility, with 24-hour access for state employees.
• The hangar space must be in a building of sound and substantial construction, with a weather-tight roof and outside coverings.
• The hangar door must be of adequate dimensions to accommodate the required aircraft or equipment.
• The facility must be free from environmental and life/safety hazards.
• The lessor must provide a space free from all environmental and life/safety hazards.
• The lessor must take corrective action to investigate, test, and remedy any suspected or identified hazards within five business days.
