Francis Marion University is seeking a vendor to provide a complete ultrasound manikin simulator system for use in cardiac (TTE/TEE), abdominal, and pulmonary ultrasound training. The contract includes furnishing, delivery, full on‑site assembly, a two‑person training session within 2‑4 weeks of delivery, a five‑year comprehensive warranty, and all freight costs to the university’s receiving dock. The university will award the contract to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder; no brand is mandated, but the system must meet detailed functional and simulation capabilities.
• Provide a life‑size manikin with realistic tissue feel, depressible abdomen/intercostal spaces, and integrated probe ports for curvilinear, linear, TTE, and TEE probes.
• Include simulation software covering normal and pathological cases for cardiac, lung, and abdominal imaging, with updates at no extra charge during the warranty period.
• Deliver, install, and test the system on‑site, then train at least two FMU staff members within 2‑4 weeks; training may be recorded for future use.
• Offer a five‑year all‑inclusive warranty (hardware, parts, labor, travel, software updates) and provide standard business‑hour technical support with remote diagnostics.
