Description
The Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Keyport requires a contractor to remove, replace, and certify new insulation on two liquid nitrogen lines serving a 3,000‑gallon N₂ tank. The work includes disposal of existing insulation, surface preparation, installation of a 3‑inch urethane blanket with Mylar vapor barrier and aluminum jacket, hardware replacement, site cleanup, and post‑installation testing. The effort is limited to a four‑day system shutdown, with approximately three days of active labor, and must be completed within 30 days of contract award. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, 100 % small‑business set‑aside (DPAS rating DO‑C9) and will be awarded to the technically acceptable offer providing best value.
