22989 - MVHC Midvalley Health Center - Dermatology

The University of Utah is seeking an A/E team to provide full design services for the renovation of the Midvalley Health Center, Department of Dermatology. The project includes partial demolition, remodel, construction, floor expansion, and outfitting of approximately 8,583 SF on levels 3, 4, and 5 of Building 3100. The scope of work includes increasing the total number of Dermatology Exam rooms by 18, which would support an additional 6 Providers. The work is anticipated to be constructed as one project with work taking place in separate areas at a time. Key features of the project include: • Renovation of underutilized space and small provider offices into additional exam rooms • Infill of the Level 4 Atrium floor to create a central Provider Lounge • Addition of HW sink, PCMC power bed, hyfrecator on wheels, supply cart, wall-mounted computer, and exam ceiling to exam rooms • Consideration of standard door location and thermostat strategy • Coordination of FF&E location and associated clearances, and power requirements • Structural services to verify modifications to the existing space atrium infill The project requires a mandatory pre-bid meeting and site visit on October 22, 2025, at 3:00 PM PDT.
