Vehicle Collision and Body Repair Services

The Clay County Government is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide vehicle collision and body repair services for County-owned vehicles on an as-needed basis. The successful contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials, equipment, paint, supplies, and related services necessary to restore County vehicles to pre-loss condition. Services may include collision damage repair, body panel repair and replacement, frame and structural repairs, paint and refinishing services, and more. The contractor shall provide a minimum one-year warranty on workmanship, manufacturer warranties on parts, and written warranty documentation upon completion of repairs. Key points to consider: • The contractor shall maintain a fully staffed collision repair facility located within Clay County, Missouri. • The contractor shall provide a physical address of the repair facility with its bid submission. • The contractor shall maintain all required business licenses, employ qualified technicians, possess equipment necessary to complete modern vehicle repairs, comply with manufacturer repair procedures, maintain insurance acceptable to the County, and be capable of servicing passenger vehicles, SUVs, pickup trucks, vans, and law enforcement vehicles. • The contractor shall provide a written estimate identifying labor hours, labor rates, parts costs, paint and materials costs, sublet costs, and an estimated completion date prior to beginning repairs. • The contractor shall identify the type of parts proposed for repair, including OEM, aftermarket, recycled/salvage, and remanufactured parts.
