Paint & Repair Water Tanks

The Okaloosa County Board of County Commissioners is seeking bids for the paint and repair of water tanks. The project includes blasting, cleaning, repairing, and painting of the North Beal Extension 500,000-gallon torospherical elevated water storage tank, as well as repairing and repainting of the roof on four other elevated water storage tanks. The contractor will also be responsible for interior cleaning and inspections of two potable water storage tanks, and visual inspection of hatches/doors and ventilation screening of tanks in the Okaloosa County Water system. • The project requires a mandatory pre-bid conference on November 20, 2025. • Bidders must submit their bids electronically through BidNet by December 17, 2025. • The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive bidder. • The contractor must be certified to do business in the state of Florida and must provide a Certificate of Good Standing. • The project has a five-year warranty period, during which the contractor must repair any defects in the coating system at no additional cost to the owner.
