Reconstruct Runway 8L–26R, Taxiway N and Connector Taxiways East of Taxiway U Project

The Ontario International Airport Authority (OIAA) is seeking bids for the reconstruction of Runway 8L-26R, Taxiway N, and connector taxiways east of Taxiway U. The project includes full depth reconstruction of the runway, taxiway, and connector taxiways, as well as rehabilitation of runway shoulders, taxiway shoulders, and paved infield areas. The successful bidder will be required to have experience with similar airfield pavement projects and must be a licensed A contractor in California. The project is expected to be completed within a 1-year contract term. • The project requires the reconstruction of approximately 1,100 feet of the south outboard pavement and the full runway width at the intersection of Taxiway U, Taxiway V, and Taxiway W. • The project also includes the rehabilitation of runway shoulders, taxiway shoulders, paved infield areas, and the replacement of associated runway and taxiway pavement and edge lighting. • The successful bidder must have successfully completed three P-501 airfield pavement projects within the last 10 years, with previous experience working on a 14 CRF Part 139 medium or large hub airport, using FAA specifications. • The bidder must also be a licensed A contractor in California and self-perform at least 35% of the total work of this project.
