Morrison Tank Screening Project

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking a qualified landscape and irrigation installation contractor to provide services for the Morrison Tank Screening Project. The project involves installing a natural vegetated screen around the Morrison potable water tank using trees and shrubs, as well as installing a high-efficiency irrigation system. The contractor will be responsible for site preparation, irrigation installation, and landscaping. The project is expected to last for six months. Key responsibilities include providing a limited period guarantee on all plantings and irrigation repairs, educating district staff on long-term care and maintenance of the implemented landscape, and ensuring that all work is performed in accordance with the District's standards and specifications. • The project requires the installation of five small trees and five shrubs, with specific plant considerations and quantities. • The irrigation system must be high-efficiency, with drip or point-source emitters and pressure regulation. • The contractor must provide a copy of all work records and receipts of materials used on the project. • The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to request best and final offers from any or all proposers.
