Fuel Removal at Sector Humboldt Bay Fuel Farm

The opportunity involves fuel tank evacuation for two 10,000-gallon Jet A fuel tanks at the Sector Humboldt Bay Fuel Farm. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to perform the fuel removal, including proper handling and disposal of contaminated fuel and waste products in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations. The scope of work is limited to the removal and recycling of the contaminated fuel only, and the tanks will remain in place after the fuel has been removed. • The contractor must provide a standard 2” hose single point refueling nozzle NIIN: 013858946 to attach suction lines to the tanks. • The contractor must handle and dispose of the contaminated fuel in accordance with OSHA and EPA regulations. • The contractor will not be required to clean the inside of the tanks or remove any sludge or debris. • The contractor will be provided with a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for the contaminated Jet A fuel.
