Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Walla Walla District, is seeking a contractor to provide routine and nonroutine maintenance to elevators at McNary Lock and Dam. The contractor must provide a certificate showing the current State of Oregon Elevator Journeyman License. The contract will be awarded to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The evaluation factors include past performance, technical capability, and quote price.
• The contractor must have experience providing 24/7 surveillance and monitoring services for elevators.
• The contractor must have experience with elevator operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, and modernization.
• The contractor must have experience with rigorous safety testing, inspections, and obtaining certifications for elevator systems.
• The contractor must have specific experience with both hydraulic and traction elevator technologies.
• The contractor must have experience developing and implementing emergency response plans for elevator entrapments and other incidents along with a thorough understanding of relevant elevator codes and regulations.
