The North Carolina Department of Public Safety – NC National Guard (NCNG) Construction Facilities Management Office (CFMO) is seeking designers for the Salemburg Tarheel ChalleNGe Academy - Parking Lot Upgrades project. The objective of this project is to upgrade the existing gravel parking lots with asphalt, including wheel stops, post-mounted parking signs, and parking lot marking and striping. Designers are required to determine ADA parking requirements and investigate regulatory requirements for stormwater control measures. • The project requires specialized or appropriate expertise in this type of project. • The design team should use the NC State Construction Manual, NC State Building Code, and other state guidelines as a basis for design and construction requirements. • The proposing firm must be properly licensed to practice Architecture, Engineering, or Landscape Architecture in the State of North Carolina. • The selection committee will consider factors such as past performance, adequate staff, proposed design approach, and construction administration capabilities. • The project budget is $1,316,000, with $877,000 in currently available funding.
