HVAC Rooftop Unit Replacement and Building Automation Integration

The Town of Oro Valley is seeking qualified contractors to replace 23 aging packaged rooftop HVAC units at its newly‑acquired facility (13101 N Oracle Rd.) and to upgrade zone‑level temperature control by installing networked thermostats that integrate with the existing Delta Controls building automation system. The work includes removal and proper refrigerant recovery of existing units, installation of new high‑efficiency RTUs (low‑GWP refrigerants), roof penetration protection, electrical disconnect work, and full commissioning. The automation portion requires BACnet‑native controllers, point mapping, graphics updates, and compliance with the Town’s cybersecurity standards. All work must follow the 2024 International Mechanical, Building, Fire, and Electrical Codes, EPA refrigerant regulations, and OSHA safety rules. The project is all‑electric, will be performed during normal business hours (6 am‑6 pm, Mon‑Fri), and the contractor must provide a 2‑year warranty on labor and equipment.
