Event Parking Services

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a contractor to provide event parking services for on-campus events, including home football games, men's basketball games, concerts, and other major events. The contractor will be responsible for developing ingress and egress plans, providing staffing, deploying traffic calming devices, and offering turn-key solutions for event parking. The contract will have an initial term of three years, with the option to renew for up to two additional one-year terms. The University is looking for a contractor with experience in providing professional parking management operations, particularly for NCAA Division 1 athletic events and concerts. Some key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing ingress and egress plans for events • Providing adequate staffing for events, including attendants, supervisors, and traffic control officers • Deploying traffic calming devices, barriers, and directional signage as needed • Collaborating with University staff and law enforcement to ensure safe and efficient event operations • Providing excellent customer service to event attendees The contractor will be required to provide a detailed description of their administrative plan, organizational structure, and experience in providing similar services. They will also need to provide references, proof of ownership or leased status of equipment, and a written plan for ensuring radios are available and in use at events.
