Description
The County of Los Angeles, Department of Parks and Recreation, is seeking qualified vendors to provide special events services, including entertainment, sports, and commercial events, at various park locations. The selected vendors will be required to enter into a Master Agreement with the County, which will be in effect for a period of five years with an option to extend for an additional five years. The vendors will be responsible for acquiring all necessary permits and insurance, paying all bills associated with the events, and installing and providing adequate fixtures, equipment, and services. The County will review and approve any sponsors and advertisers for the events. The vendors will be required to comply with the County's policies and procedures, including those related to insurance, indemnification, and conflict of interest.
• The events may include music concerts and festivals, themed events, cultural events, celebrations, fairs, and circus.
• The events may be free or ticketed, and may include the sale of alcohol, food, and merchandise.
• The vendors will be required to calculate fees and charges based on the revenue generated from the events.
• The County will provide a schedule for the release of Special Event Work Order Solicitations for the Entertainment Special Events category.
• The vendors will be required to register in the County's WebVen system and provide proof of insurance coverage.
