The National Institutes of Health (NIH) requires ShareGate licenses to support the migration of SharePoint on-premises environments and Microsoft Teams sites to Microsoft 365 (M365) cloud services. This effort is part of NIH's broader modernization initiative to transition from legacy platforms to SharePoint Online and streamline Teams migrations, ensuring secure collaboration, compliance with federal IT modernization mandates, and improved support for remote and hybrid work.
Key features of the required ShareGate licenses include secure and seamless data migration, governance, reporting, and access control across cloud environments. The licenses should support a broad range of migration scenarios, including SharePoint to Office 365, Google Drive to SharePoint, file shares to OneDrive, and tenant-to-tenant transfers.
The NIH is seeking a contractor to provide 100 ShareGate licenses for a period of one year, with the option to renew. The contractor should have experience in providing similar licenses and services to federal agencies.
The evaluation criteria for this RFQ include the contractor's experience, technical expertise, and pricing. The NIH will evaluate the proposals based on the lowest priced technically acceptable (LPTA) procedure.
The contractor should provide a detailed proposal outlining their experience, technical approach, and pricing. The proposal should include a description of the ShareGate licenses, migration services, and support provided. The contractor should also provide references from previous federal agency clients.
The NIH will award a contract to the contractor that meets the technical requirements and offers the lowest price. The contract will include all applicable provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2025-06.
The period of performance for this contract will be from the date of award to January 7, 2027.
The NIH is committed to ensuring that all contractors comply with federal regulations and laws, including those related to cybersecurity, data protection, and accessibility.
The contractor should be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and have a valid certification.
The NIH encourages small businesses, minority-owned businesses, and women-owned businesses to participate in this RFQ.
