Sale of Recycled Goods from Perdido Landfill

The Escambia County Department of Waste Services is seeking a vendor to purchase recycled goods, including scrap metals, electronics, and batteries, from the Perdido Landfill. The vendor will be required to provide roll-off containers and pickup/drop-off services on an as-needed basis or regular schedule. The contract will be for a period of 36 months, with two optional 12-month renewal periods. The vendor must be willing to take scrap propane/gas tanks and canisters, TVs, monitors, and batteries. • Provide storage containers and roll-offs • Pick up/drop off, transportation, and recycling of materials • Provide a monthly spreadsheet with payments made to the county for weights removed • Haulers must utilize the scale house for tracking and weight comparison • Please provide a copy of your permit and/or registration to transport hazardous waste with FDEP
