Description
The State of Michigan is seeking a professional services contractor to provide design and construction administration services for the repair or replacement of the freezer at the Parnall Correctional Facility, Building 79 Dining Hall/Kitchen in Jackson, Michigan. The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete design based on the approved project/program statement and for assuming responsibility for all professional services offered in their proposal. The contractor must have demonstrated experience in the successful planning and execution of similar projects in full accordance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
• The project includes multiple phases, including study, schematic design, preliminary design, final design, construction administration, and field services.
• The contractor must provide a technical proposal and a cost proposal, which will be evaluated based on their technical proposal (80%) and cost proposal (20%).
• The contractor must have a license to practice in the State of Michigan and must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
• The contractor will be required to provide services necessary to respond to and resolve contractor claims arising wholly or in part from the Professional's design errors or omissions or other aspects of the design.
