Skylight Replacement

The City of Melbourne Airport Authority is seeking a contractor to replace the atrium skylight in the main terminal building. The successful bidder will be responsible for maintenance of pedestrian traffic, coordination with other contractors, and providing support to the airport authority during installation. The project requires a high level of coordination and professionalism to minimize conflicts and delays. • The existing skylight was damaged by hurricanes and has failed. • The project is a lump sum contract. • The bidder must visit the site prior to bidding, and site visits can be arranged between February 12, 2026, and March 3, 2026. • The bidder must coordinate with airport operations, tenants, and other contractors to minimize conflicts and delays. • The project requires value engineering, scheduling, permitting, subcontractor bidding and contracting, supervision of the work, document control, and project close-out.
