Description
The United States Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to procure and deliver two street-legal security carts to the Coast Guard Base in Los Angeles/Long Beach. The carts must meet specific safety requirements and have features such as a siren, public address system, and yellow/amber bar type strobe light. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the reliable functionality of the carts and providing initial setup and operational training. The project duration is expected to be 45 days. Key requirements include:
• Vehicles must be sufficient in size to support the driver and a minimum of one passenger.
• Vehicles must meet safety requirements in accordance with local and state laws.
• Vehicles must have a siren and public address system.
• Vehicles must have yellow/amber bar type strobe light permanently mounted on the top of each vehicle.
• Vehicles must have enclosed trunk back and front and rear bumper.
• Optional features include sealed beam spotlights permanently mounted on the left front door of each vehicle.
