Boardwalk and Retaining Wall Repairs at Catawba River Park

The City of Rock Hill is seeking competitive bids from qualified companies to provide exterior repairs to the Catawba River Park boardwalks and retaining wall. The project includes replacing damaged boardwalk sections, repairing the retaining wall, and installing mitigation measures to prevent future damage. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. The project is funded by the FEMA Public Assistance Fund and is subject to federal clauses and regulations. • The boardwalk repairs include replacing 800 square feet of 2-inch-thick x 6-inch-wide pressure-treated boardwalk at Site 1A, 1,120 square feet at Site 1B, and 384 square feet at Site 1C. • The retaining wall repairs include replacing 201 cubic feet of retaining wall. • The mitigation measures include installing composite decking and enhanced anchoring at Site 1B. • The contract term is 90 days upon execution of the agreement. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the low bidder.
